August was a good month for South West Burlesque.
We began with the fantastic Coco Boudoir on Saturday 21st, a great night in Bath which never disappoints. Co-Creator of the night Geisha Go Disco joined resident dancer Fifi Fatale, Bristol burlesque queen Tuesday Laveau, sensual songstress Madame Tashy and the antipodean dancing mach-ean (bad rhyme) Sapphira! Hosted as always by the incomparable Countess Arsuppi and maided by yours truly, it kicked off a busy week of shows for us.
Then Monday 23rd saw me dance at my favourite music venue, The Croft, on behalf of Lush and http://www.gorillaperfumes.com to launch their new perfume Tuca Tuca!
After a lovely Saturday evening spent with my friends for my birthday, us Burlesquers met up once again to raise money for a wonderful cause. Baby Doll Burlesque was filled with fabulous local names, Tuesday and myself were joined by Kitty Kane, Betty Bruiser, Pearl Boheme the wonderful belly dancer, and Lily Belle our wonderful Host. We raised more than enough money for the cause and had a kick ass time doing it.
Coming up this month I’ll be performing in West Bromwich at Cosplay Burlesque by Black Country Burlesque and Swansea’s Blue Stocking Lounge!
